Happy Anniversary
We met on a cold day in November,
A day that I will always remember.
You said you liked my smile,
Would I sit and talk with you for a while.
Much to my delight,
You asked me out that night.
We talked and laughed and had so much fun,
I knew then that you were the one.
The hours seemed like days when we were apart,
For we had captured each other's heart.
It wasn't long before we knew,
We'd always be together... me and you.
We met on a cold day in November,
A day both of us will always remember.
We've laughed, we've loved
and we've shed some tears,
But it has truly been a wonderful twenty four years.
